ABOUT

Owner, David Ogburn, has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and in the fence industry for over 10 years. In that time he has worked on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects, even writing technical fencing specifications for architects. He has taken the time to learn the correct way to install every style of fence and has earned the title of Certified Fence Professional from the American Fence Association. This guarantees the right products and the proper installation for each project. Greybeard Fence is also well versed in international pool code requirements, local municipality codes, and will help guide homeowners through local HOA requirements.

Bret Bowman, Project Manager

ABOUT

Project Manager, Bret Bowman, is a North Carolina native and has been working for Greybeard Fence since 2022 after a decade of serving Western North Carolina as a Certified Arborist and sales manager in the tree care industry.  Bret specializes in residential projects of all sizes including privacy, chain-link, farm style, aluminum, and steel fencing.  He enjoys helping clients figure out what fits their needs best based on layout, aesthetics, budget, and pets.  In his free time, he enjoys taking his dog Abner on long hikes and is active in the community playing adult sports and coaching his children's sports teams.

Grant Rehder, Project Manager

Project Manager, Grant Rehder, has over 10 years specifically in the fence contracting business and is highly skilled in all types of products and their applications. Specializing in commercial/industrial bidwork, he will confidently and efficiently meet your project needs from design/conceptual stages through final installation and everything in between. He holds a Certified Fence Professional certification designed to recognize their ongoing commitment to quality products and improving standards within the fence industry. When not at work, Grant can routinely be found outdoors and playing/seeing live music.
